Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the progress with the new ride-this site that we promised.
We closed down the site just about two weeks ago, hoping to open up in a couple days with a new site architecture, a new, live stock inventory and a new style to boot. If you're reading this, you can see that the site has been reopened with the same old layout.
The lowdown is that after we took the site down, we had a lot of new opportunities presented to us on what we could bring to our customers and online audience, and kind of went overboard trying to make the site everything we could. We've gone through two redesigns and the addition of some five odd shopping and browsing features that I think you will be really excited about (Including the return of all of our other sites ridetwenty, rtbikes, and ride-track), and before we knew it, the site had been down for 8 plus days.
So, long story short, we've had to push the launch of the new site back a couple weeks. But I promise that you guys will be stoked on the end result.

Here's the main layout for the new site. We're going with a larger, more user friendly layout, with our large banner and full search staying up on the screen on all pages but your shopping cart.
We changed up the dropdown navigation so you can get straight to the manufacturer page that you want from the homepage. With this feature and the faster database that we created, we've elimated a lot of the problems with load times that some customers told us about.

Here you can see the new layout for our BMX store, ride20. We're bringing back our BMX, track, and road sites to go along with the new ride-this store. With easy navigation between all four stores and a single shopping cart that allows you to buy from any and all of our stores and checkout with a single order with a single shipping cost, all online. This is probably what we're most excited about here at the shop.
And most importantly of all, we wish shop german shepherd Dallas a happy 8th birthday!
